November 2024 BCA Inform - Shaping a Plan for Accessible Information and Communication
Event description
The Federal Government will be progressing work on the development of an Associated Plan for Information and Communication - a key recommendation of the Disability Royal Commission’s (DRC) final report.
The DRC recommended that the Federal Government, working in collaboration with the States and Territories, should develop a plan that would sit under Australia’s Disability Strategy, and consider accessible information and communications for people with disability across a range of contexts, settings and situations.
To ensure we can provide relevant and up to date feedback to the federal government throughout the development of this plan, we want to hear from you. Please come along and share your thoughts, as we work to progress an area of enormous importance for people who are blind or vision impaired.
If you have any questions, or if you require assistance registering, please feel free to contact us at events@bca.org.au or call 1800 033 660.
