This presentation shares the story of Waukesha’s 4th Regiment Company A and its role in the Spanish-American War. Through photographs, letters, and local records, it highlights the personal experiences of soldiers and the impact their service had on the Waukesha community. Attendees will discover how national history unfolded through local lives, connecting broader themes of duty and identity to the people and places of Waukesha at the turn of the 20th century.
Zac Dickhut is the Curator at the Waukesha County Historical Society and Museum. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from St. Norbert College and a master’s degree in Public History with a Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Zac has worked with several Wisconsin museums and historical organizations, including the Waupun Historical Society, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, and the Fond du Lac Historical Society. His work centers on creating engaging exhibits that connect communities with their shared past.

What if I need to cancel my order? Rochester Deli needs the lunch order by the Friday before the Lunch & Learn date. While you could cancel after that date, we will not issue a refund if you ordered a meal.
