November EYDN Peer Network: Community Barriers
Description
What will we be doing?
We will be discussing a bit about the community!
We will ask a few questions, such as what do you do to engage with the community?
What barriers exist that may stop you from engaging with community spaces & events?
How do you think the community and supports could be improved to create more accessible spaces?
There will be opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences, but we ask for mindfulness about possible sensitive topics to others!

About EYDN
Enabled Youth Disability Network (EYDN) is an organisation run by and for young people with disability between 18-30 years in South Australia.
EYDN is dedicated to amplifying the voices and aspirations of young persons with disability through systemic advocacy, co-designing and facilitating peer networks and capacity building activities, in partnership with Purple Orange. EYDN is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
Our monthly peer network meetings provide opportunities to create community, develop self-advocacy skills and build confidence and knowledge in areas such as education, employment, independent living skills and human rights.
