November Field Day
Description
The November field day for Hunter Organic Growers Society will be held at Karen Dickinson & Keith Grice's property 'Willowsfield' in Mulbring. Karen and Keith have been at this 10acre property for 15 years and have been very busy establishing a permaculture oasis on what was once a motorbike racing track!
Come along and check out the 150m of garden swales - built under the guidance of Brett Cooper (Limestone Permaculture) and our esteemed president 😊
The day will include a property tour and assistance helping to mulch a garden bed.
Please bring a hat, sunscreen, enclosed footwear and gardening gloves (if participating in mulching exercise). Also, bring your own lunch or lunch/morning tea to share.
Bring your own fresh water as only tank water available.
Tea/coffee supplied.
This event is free for members. Non-members should join at the Hunter Organic Growers Society website.
Please note that 10 cars can park on site. Other vehicles should park along the fence line. Also, the house is numbered 43 and 38A.
