November Jazz Jam - Passing Strangers
Description
Our November monthly Jazz Club Night is the first Thursday of the month, held at The Barn, behind the Honest Lawyer at 1 Point Road, Stoke.
Our Featured band, Passing Strangers who are putting the Swingtime back in Springtime, are making their debut performance.
Passing Strangers is Ben Collis Vocals/Guitar, Anabel Boyes Sax, Brett Holland Keys, Fraser Campbell Bass and Alan Burden Percussion.
Come for some up tempo Sinatra swingers ! Stay for heartfelt ballads, bittersweet Bossas and some Blues.
The guest band will play for about an hour and then the floor is open for a jam session, with the Guest Band being available to support jamming artists.
Our aim is to increase performance space and diversity of jazz within our community. We also seek to foster a greater appreciation of jazz and expand our local jazz community.
Nelson Jazz Club Members will have a discounted entry to each Club Night. - Payment on the Door (Eftpos available)
