November Meditation + Discourse on the Middle Way
Event description
Come along to the November end-of-month Guided Meditation, followed by a special Discourse on the Middle Way.
**Due to a clash of scheduling, this month's end of month meditation will be held on 17th November 2024*
Following the guided meditation at 10am, Dr Lan-Hoa Le, will present a Discourse on the Middle Way, an important path taken in Buddhism to avoid extremes and help find equilibrium and centredness in life.
Lan-Hoa is a trained Calm-Abiding Meditation Teacher, as well as a Specialist Anaesthetist and Wellbeing Advocate. She is passionate about sharing her learnings of meditation and mindfulness to benefit others.
Beginners and more advanced practitioners are welcome. Cushions and chairs are available at the venue.
The entry is free, but donations are welcome to help us continue to offer classes and workshops, and periodically invite Tibetan Buddhist teachers to give teachings.
You are welcome to stay afterwards for a cuppa and chat, and if you can, please bring along something to share for morning tea. We look forward to seeing you there!
