Travel instructions
The closest bus stop from Footscray Station is the 409/406 bus stop just outside the new Footscray Hospital. There are two intersections to cross over to the University side close by. You may also travel by the Shuttle bus which will arrive on the Hoadley Ct side of the campus. Additionally there is a carpark for use out the back of the Uni but you must drive down Farnsworth Avenue to access it!
Entry instructions
There are many accessible routes into room E128. The most efficient from Ballarat road is to make your way down from between K and A building via the ramps (which is the Mills Cl side of Ballarat road). Once outside E building there are only ramp access points. The entrance opposite the P building doors will lead you straight to the entrance of E128. The building doors open automatically, but the room itself must be opened manually, which we will be able to do :)
After entry instructions
Sit down on a beanbag or chair anywhere you feel comfortable.
Hazards
The door into the event space is not extra wide and must be held open to allow entry. It also often locks and a button needs to be pressed, from inside the room to temporarily unlock it. There are a few narrow hallways that Committee members use often to facilitate the event.
Toilet location
There are disabled stalls in both the men's and women's toilets down the hall from the event space, although the Uni does very little to maintain them. Facing the doorway into the event space the toilets are down the hall to the left and you will find them on your left. The women's toilets are first (and directly next to the women's room which is not a toilet) and the men's toilets are second.
