Event description

Connecting with embodied and Nature’s wisdom

The School of Being is hosting a one day nature constellations workshop at a beautiful outdoor location in Sydney. In this workshop we will be together in nature and explore our personal, community and environmental wellbeing using an embodied mapping process called Nature Constellations.

Nature constellations are based in traditional wisdom and developed from systemic constellations which has its origins in the family constellation work of Bert Hellinger. It is an embodied group practice that helps us to explore different situations and systems within our lives to help us gain a new perspective about the relationships between different parts of ourselves and aspects within our lives, families, communities and larger systems.

Through an embodied process we together create a living map of the system so that we can see our systems and situations from a new perspective gaining insights to help seed change. Often, just sensing our system in a new way brings in powerful seeds for change.

Constellating outside in nature is a great way to come into Life consciousness. Being amongst the trees, being attentive to the particular smells, sounds, colours, and shapes of the bush—tree barks, roots, birds, insects, leaves, water and weather. Each brings delights, where we are once again deeply connected to Nature’s rhythms, being with Nature, as if seeing through her eyes. This deep listening to Nature reveals the inter-relationships of a system or situation in new ways. The more we attend to Nature, the more we learn.

In this gathering we will use Nature Constellations to explore
• Some different aspects of our lives
• Consider what’s getting in the way of our wellness
• Use embodied group process to map the systems of a few participants
• Connect, listen and learn with Nature

Vivien Sung

Vivien is a strategic designer, regenerative practitioner and educator who seeks to create deep transformative change to move to new ways of living and being in balance with our living systems. She believes that to create positive futures, inner work is important to create the conditions for long-lasting collective change. Vivien grew up in two different cultures, Eastern and Western, which led her to develop a curiosity in cultural patterns, systems, structures and beliefs. She believes there is a need for holistic wellbeing including physical, emotional, spiritual and ecological and is passionate to bring her embodied knowledge from her journey over many years to support planetary stewardship and societal health.

Jax Wechsler
