Novocastrian Players Fund Raiser Soiree

This year so far has been a fulfilling journey for the choir, and as their leader for the past several years, I'm incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together. Our focus in 2024 has been on sharing the power of music with our community, and the results have been truly heart warming.

The choir has become a regular source of joy for residents at several local nursing homes. Our uplifting music brightens their days, and it's been wonderful to see residents visibly perk up as we sing. Many residents even join in, humming or tapping their feet along with the familiar melodies.  Even the nurses have mentioned how much they appreciate the positive and peaceful atmosphere our music creates.

Our reputation for creating beautiful music is growing! This year, two new nursing homes reached out, eager to have us perform for their residents. This is a wonderful testament to the impact we're making.

This fundraising soiree, we're taking things a step further. This event not only raises crucial funds for our community performances but also showcases the incredible talent and dedication of our choir members. This year, we'll be adding a touch of magic with special solo and duet performances – we can't wait to share these with you.
