Hazards

The Nowra treatment plant is not an all-accessible facility. There are flights of stairs, and no lift service. Additionally, when touring the outside areas, the walkways are narrow, and the use of railings required. We suggest parents would be nursing children aged 4 years and under, and for children aged 5 to 9 years, would be in constant hand contact. Wheelchairs, walking frames, crutches or other similar mobility aids are not possible on this tour.

Toilet location

There is limited bathroom availability, and no infant changing room. By design, the duration of the tour, 75 minutes, is to minimise this requirement for you.
