Event description

Be the leader the world needs you to be.

How do we go from being a well-intentioned ‘for purpose’ leader, to a leader able to make intentionally impactful change?

After a decade interviewing, working with and learning at the feet of some of the world’s bravest pioneers, Holly Ransom will share some of the best of what these diverse leaders can teach us about life and leadership.

Holly believes that collective impact starts from within – and that there are lessons of mindset, method and mastery, that we need to learn to lead ourselves, before we can effectively lead others.

About Our Speaker:

The Leading Edge

Holly Ransom has brilliantly debunked the obsolete models of leadership we continue to teach, reward and aspire to. The Leading Edge stands out for its diverse weave of leadership stories, some from leaders you’ll know, many from leaders you’ll never forget. Holly will explain how stories and case studies are mapped into lessons for mindset, methods and mastery; first for leading oneself, then for leading others. Hear from Holly how collective impact first starts within. The Leading Edge stands out for its diverse weave of leadership stories, some from leaders you’ll know, many from leaders you’ll never forget. The stories are mapped into lessons for mindset, methods and mastery; first for leading oneself, then for leading others. Holly makes it clear that collective impact first starts within. The Leading Edge is a call to arms for people to step up and turn restlessness for change into the reality of a better world. Challenging the idea that leadership is exclusive, Holly shares a diverse array of actionable leadership practices from the many changemakers she has interviewed. This content will empower anyone, anywhere, to become the leader the world needs.

A note from Holly:

The Leading Edge is the book I so desperately wished already existed when I found myself in the global spotlight while chairing the G20 Youth Summit in my early 20s. How could I go from a well-intentioned leader to a leader able to make intentionally impactful change? After a decade interviewing, working with and learning at the feet of some of the world’s bravest pioneers, I have gathered the very best of what I’ve gleaned from these diverse leaders. Within the pages you’ll find the mindsets to choose your moment, deal with criticism and bounce back strong. The methods to back up your opinions, test your fledgling strategies and work through fear. And the mastery to set and achieve goals, to work ‘on’ as well as ‘in’ your mission and to build a tribe of allies equally restless for change.
