NRF+FaBA collaboration announcement

Developing smart, sustainable, Australian-made food and beverage products and technologies will be the focus of a new collaboration between Northern Rivers Food (NRF) and Australia's Food and Beverage Accelerator (FaBA). 

As one of Australia’s leading associations of Food and Beverage Producers, NRF aims to support our Northern Rivers NSW members' businesses by providing opportunities for education, collaboration, promotion and acceleration. 

FaBA is a $160 million initiative of the Federal Government to foster collaboration between industry and university researchers to accelerate the development of ingredients, products and skills that benefit Australia. Working together, the NRF-FaBA Collaboration will help NRF’s members thrive in the ever-evolving food and beverage manufacturing market.

Join us to hear from Dr Chris Downs (Director, FaBA) and Mark Awad (Chair, NRF) as they discuss the future of food and beverage in Australia and how this collaboration will benefit NRF members. We will also hear from event host, General Manager Jay Kempnich, from Common People Brewing Co.

Light refreshments, showcasing some of the exquisite range of food and beverage products produced by Northern Rivers Food members will also be available.
