Event description

Food Recall - sponsored breakfast for NRF Members

Would you be ready if your business was rocked with a food recall?

  • like the berry producers with needles in strawberries?
  • or melons due to a listeria contamination?
  • or like any number of packaged food & beverage product food recalls in recent times: food recalls in Australia 2021

Food recalls occur frequently due to a number of issues, including: contamination (e.g. bacteria, viruses or parasites), incorrect or non-compliant labelling, foreign matter contamination (e.g. glass, metal or plastic objects), other contaminants (e.g. pesticides, cleaning products), packaging faults and others.

Our breakfast session will focus on this important topic of risk management for every food & beverage business – big or small, and what you need to do to be prepared.

This is a special sponsored (free) breakfast session just for NRF members, presented by insurers AON based in Byron Bay.

AON have organised special expert guest speakers from AIG to speak on the topic:

  • Brett Solway – Senior Casualty Underwriter; and
  • Claire Richards – Crisis Management & Environmental Liability Manager.

It will include a full breakfast by the talented crew at Karkalla Byron Bay.

Note:  due to COVID number restrictions, tickets are limited to NRF members only and to one per business and on a first in first served basis.  This session is specifically suited to food & beverage Business Owners, General Managers, CEOS and CFOs.
