    Walk in solidarity for the reconciliation movement. Together we will venture from Langley Park to the Supreme Court Gardens. Bring your Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flags, and NRW 2024 theme Now More Than Ever signs!

  2. Education Zone - 10:00am to 11:30am
    Education Zone - 10:00am to 11:30am

    The education zone is for children and Early Childhood & Primary School Groups to participate in reconciliation education activities. Immerse your school within reconciliation! Children will get to hear storytelling with Cyril Yarran, experience a Noongar dance performance and learn about Balbuks Story. Getting there: (4) bays along Governor Ave to be designated for bus drop off Pull in area along Riverside designed for pick up. Traffic wardens will be positioned to direct buses in and out Schools have the option of participating in the following activities at Supreme Court Garden during free time, registrations are not required - Community Canvas - Dream Wall installation - Chill out zone Schools are encouraged to bring the Dream card to hand as part of the Dream Wall installation. Water stations will be available to refill water bottles. Please remember to bring appropriate shoes and sun protection. These sessions are designed for 4-12 year-olds along with guardians/teachers. We encourage older participants to join us for the main walk from Langley Park to Supreme Court Gardens from 12pm to 2pm. The event commence with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony and include truth telling, dance, art installations and live music.
