NT School Holiday Program Workshop
Event description
As part of the Katherine Youth Vibe School Holiday Program thanks to the NT Government (Office of Youth Affairs), Katherine Outback Experience is conducting a FREE 1/2 Day Horsemanship & Working Dog Workshop, Thursday 26th June from 9am to 12noon for students aged 8 to 17 years. Spots are limited and bookings are essential to participate.
Program Details:
8.45am - Gates open
9am - Registration, safety form, dress code checks and safety briefing
9.30am: Part 1 of Workshop
10.30am Morning Tea
10.45am: Part 2 of Workshop
11.45am: Debrief, prizes, reflections
12noon: Completion and pick-up
Requirements:
Footwear - Closed in shoes are a must!
Safety - Parents or guardians are required to complete a Digital Risk Waiver Form prior to participation, the link is included in the confirmation email.
Appropriate Attire - While the majority will be conducted under cover please wear appropriate clothing to work with horses, dogs and possibly in the sun.
What to pack: Please bring a drink bottle and hat, morning tea is provided so please let us know if your child has any dietary requirements.
If you book a spot for your child and they can no longer attend, please cancel the ticket to allow other students to attend as spots are limited due to animal allocation and instructor ratio.
