Event description

National Tree Day - Join us to plant a new native garden

Hosted by Planet Ark, National Tree Day is Australia's largest community tree-planting and nature care event. The event enables communities to engage in environmental activities and hands on experience and education in planting.

The Sustainability and Open Space teams and Associate Professor Rosanne Quinnell invite our community to help plant a new native garden on the Camperdown campus. Get your hands dirty (gloves and trowels provided) and contribute towards growing the biodiversity of fauna and flora on our campuses.

To keep everyone COVIDSafe, planting will be carried out in specific time slots and capped at 25 people per session. Pick a time slot that suits you or your team and register. There will be wait lists if the day becomes full.

Please note, there will be filming and photography at this event. If you do not wish to captured on camera, please let staff know on the day.
