Welcome to the NTGE Championships 2024 Ft. Rocket League 2v2. Embracing this competition means engaging in top-tier esports within a community that values professionalism, fun, safety, and inclusivity. As part of NTGE’s dedication, Rocket League players will experience a season designed to test skills and foster community bonds, with a chance to compete in the Grand Finals slated for October.

The competition is FREE to enter however there is an option to support this by donating. These donations will help us cover running costs and potentially help us provide a larger prize pool. Again, these donations are completely optional.

Team Registration Details

Rocket League 2v2 teams must follow these entry criteria:

• No Rank Restrictions: Open to players of all skill levels.
• Grand Final Attendance: Eligibility for the Grand Final may require attending a live event in Darwin, NT, with details announced later in the season.
• Entry Requirements:
  • Minimum two team members should be current or former Northern Territory residents. 1 player must be a current or former NT resident (meaning had an NT drivers licence or lived in the NT for more than 12 months)
    
  • Teams must compete in person to claim victory at the Finals.
• Format: Round Robin leading to a Top 4 eliminator bracket for the Grand Final. The exact eliminator format will be determined closer to season commencement.

Schedule

NTEC Schedule will be established as soon as a Division is confirmed. The Division Manager will advise the relevant Team Captains early May 2024. To stay up to date regarding the final Schedule, please join the NTGE Discord and reach out to your Division Manager at the earliest.

Forming a Team

Players looking for a team can use the NTGE Discord and the NT Gaming and Esports Community (NTGEC) to announce their interest, ensuring no one misses out on the action.

A dedicated team ensures the Rocket League season runs smoothly, with Division Managers available for support and inquiries, emphasizing a streamlined experience for all participants.

The prize structure for Rocket League 2v2 is tailored to highlight the game’s unique competitive nature:

• Prize Pool Foundation: Funded by NTGE and sponsorships.
• Regular Season and Grand Final Prizes: Specific allocations for regular season performance and Grand Final achievements, with details adapted to Rocket League’s format.
• Grand Final Prizes: Adjusted to reflect Rocket League 2v2 specifics, including cash prizes and trophies for the top performers.
• Match-Specific Recognition: Celebrating individual and team brilliance throughout the competition.

1st Place: The champion team receives $350, the Team Gold trophy, medals, and certificates.
2nd Place: The runner-up team is awarded $150, along with medals and certificates.
Trophies & Medals: The first-place team receives the prestigious Team Gold  trophy and medals, while the second-place team receives medals.

Lachlan is your first point of contact for any inquiries or issues related to the Rocket League competition. Whether it's scheduling, rules clarification, or general support, Lachlan is ready to assist.
• Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes or if you require escalation beyond the Division Manager, David Moore (Discord @nexttierdmoore) is available for direct contact at 0406 427 197. This ensures that all participants have access to a fair and responsive resolution process.
