Description

If you want to be a doctor or dentist, you probably know the UCAT exists but have no idea what it is or how to study for it.

Join our masterclass to learn why bad scores aren't because of how smart you are but the strategy you're using.

Padea is hosting a free 90-minute masterclass at Nudgee College for Year 9, 10 and 11 students and parents, where you will:

  1. Map exactly what you need to do to get into medicine and how to avoid common pitfalls.

  2. Learn our framework that the 99th percentile use for mastering every UCAT question type.

  3. Practise this framework live on three real UCAT questions with experienced UCAT tutors.

  4. Build a step-by-step plan for studying the UCAT, customised to you.

You'll take home:

  1. A checklist of 100+ UCAT topics you need to master for the UCAT.

  2. Our guide to building the ultimate UCAT study system: which question banks to use, how to structure your practice around them, how to get a good UCAT tutor, and more.

Because every attendee will take home a custom package which costs us time and money (valued at $250), we are limiting spots to 50 families, first-come first-served.

Don't waste the next few years of your life only to miss out on your dream job. Reserve your free seat now.

Agenda

  • 4:30 pm

    Doors open and welcome

Come in, find a seat and grab a pen. Both students and parents are welcome to try questions and are encouraged to sit together.

  • 5:00 pm

    Introduction to David Sun

David started with no idea what the UCAT was or how to study it. Today, he's spent longer on this test than almost anything else in his life: first learning it, then teaching it. Hear his story on how he went from zero to hero: helping thousands of students ace the UCAT in the process.

  • 5:05 pm

Uncover the step-by-step map to medicine

Uncover the six obstacles that stand between you and a medical degree, laid out in order: what the UCAT is, what resources to get, when to start and, how to apply to courses after your exam.

  • 5:15 pm

Learn the 99th percentile UCAT framework

Learn the framework David discovered after 5,000 hours of learning and teaching the UCAT... it's what he used to help 100% of his students get into medicine and gain 2m+ views across his social media platforms where he mentors tens of thousands of high school students on the UCAT and medical entry.

  • 5:30 pm

Apply the framework with experienced UCAT tutors.

Put the framework to the test. David provides three real questions across Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Reasoning (UCAT topics). He teaches you the exact techniques you'll use. You'll attempt a genuine UCAT question under time. We review what we learned.

  • 6:00 pm

    Get the 100-skill checklist

David gives you the hundred UCAT skills, written out by hand over five years, and you take the full list home. This section shows you the whole map and exactly how to work through it and tick them off one at a time as you master them

  • 6:15 pm

Understand the 5 parts of great UCAT preparation

The 100-skills checklist identified the skills, but David won't be sitting next to you at home to apply the rest of the framework. So, you leave with the five criteria for judging any UCAT program on earth. If a program can't tick these boxes, it doesn't deserve your money.

  • 6:30 pm

    Next Steps and Q&A

A summary of how to get into medicine and dentistry. Then an open floor to ask as many questions you want about the UCAT, MMI and panel interviews, and more.

FAQs

  • What do I walk away with?

    1) a clear step by step walkthrough of the pathway to medicine and what is the UCAT

    2) a framework that 99th percentile students use to ace the UCAT

    3) a checklist of 100 UCAT skills, so you know exactly what to work on and can tick each one off as you go.

    4) a 5-point scorecard for telling a great UCAT program from an expensive one — so you never pay for the wrong thing.

    5) proof that the UCAT is not about how talented you are, but the systems you use

  • Is this right for my child?

Yes - whether they're in Year 9, 10 or 11, and whether they've never heard of the UCAT or they're already deep in practice.

Here's why. The path to medicine is the same climb for everyone. Same obstacles, same skills - the only thing that changes is when you start. It was never about how early you begin; it's about learning to clear each obstacle.

And this isn't an event where we go "here are my tips because I did well." It's about how David was in one of those exact seats himself 5 years ago - clueless and overwhelmed - and how he built a repeatable system out of it.

There's enough time in the room for every student to apply the framework and walk out better at least one part of the UCAT. Many will walk out better at several.

  • How much are tickets?

    It's completely free.

You can walk out with both take-home pages, a clearer head, and a better starting point than most students get when they begin the UCAT.
