Null Concrète - label launch

Null Concrète is an independent record label and platform dedicated to experimental electronic music, sound art and interdisciplinary sonic practice.

Founded by Steve Pan, the label explores the intersections of dub, Techno, musique concrète, leftfield electronics and contemporary experimental music. Rather than being defined by genre, Null Concrète is driven by an interest in texture, space, memory and the physical presence of sound.

Through releases, radio broadcasts, live performances and collaborative projects, the label presents works that challenge conventional listening, embracing abstraction, deep listening and sonic exploration. Drawing inspiration from analogue processes, field recordings, tape manipulation and digital experimentation, each project seeks to blur the boundaries between music, environment and narrative.

Steve Pan

Steve Pan is a Chinese electronic artist based Melbourne now. Member of Macau Techno label Asylum, part of OIL Soundsystem and founder of Null Concrète. He makes use of Dub ambient texture sound, cassette tape loop recording and different element from minimal electronics, dub techno, leftfeild bass and more to form his own Music. Fusion between hardware performances, Live coding, and freeform DJing. His work bridges experimental sound art and contemporary club culture， in his set the audience will have a hypnotic alternate reality experience deeply connected with his complex synthetic sensation. 

mishLXY

mishLXY(she/her) is a Naarm (Melbourne, Australia) DJ known for her thoughtfully curated sets and versatile artistic spectrum. Her dance floor selections consist mainly of deep, minimal progressive house, leftfield techno and polyrhythmic electronica.

Whether opening a room or guiding it deeper, her focus stays on connection with the music, pacing the dancefloor, and letting the music breathe.

Mai Kah

Seoul/Naarm based Mai Kah weaves disparate genres into interlocking rhythms, chasing a collective trance state where ambient textures meet groove, guided entirely by feeling.
