    Robin In The Woods

    Robin in the Woods, a band from Acadiana, plays tribute to
    good music that ranges from Americana, old country, country
    rock, to a couple of Cajun tunes and a few originals. 

    The band’s namesake, Robin May, is on banjo, guitar and
    vocals. May played guitar in Mais La, a three-piece Cajun band.
    Back in her early 20s, she was half of a duo that played coffee
    shops, festivals and bars in New Orleans. 

    Randy Leferink, also contributes vocals, and plays acoustic and
    electric mandolin and guitar. For 10 years in Naples, Florida, he
    applied his talents to the band Lost Rodeo. 

    King Alexander is on bass, harmonica and vocals. Alexander’s
    resume includes Lil Bob and the Lolipops and the Major Handy
    band.

    Gina Forsyth, known for her fiddle, is also a capable guitar
    player and a singer/songwriter - with quite the voice to carry her
    tunes - all with deserved awards sprinkled in. She can a does sit
    in with many band. 

    Hogie Earthangel, a formidable bass player, will be on drums.
    She has performed with Corey & The Zydeco Hot Peppers,
    Zydeco Force, The Creole Cowboys of the zydeco world and
    has played with other bands in other genres. 

    Andy Mosher honks on harmonica and has been seen and
    heard doing so at jams around town as well as with Major
    Handy and the Louisiana Blues Band. 

    Robin in the Woods’ previos gigs include The Blue Moon, Bayou
    Teche Brewery, O’Darby’s Pub, Tanya Falgout Studio, Saint
    Streets Stroll, Farm D’Allie Golf Club, and Bon Temps Grill.
