Event description
Come and spend a lazy Sunday afternoon here with the rescue residents at our 130-acre paradise just north of Byron Bay (and only 35 mins south of the QLD border…straight down the highway).
Bring your family and friends along to this special fundraising event:
☀️ Sanctuary tour and 'meet and greet' with our precious residents. Learn a little about their unique personalities and their individual rescue stories (age appropriate)...there’s always plenty of furred and feathered cuddles on offer.
☀️ Decadent 2-metre-long grazing table 🌱(bring your picnic blanket so you can settle-in and soak up the magic of the Sanctuary)
☀️ Pre-order a glass of kombucha or vegan bubbles
☀️ Help us celebrate and honour the life of our precious ex-racehorse, Gemma, and all of those who have lost their lives in the abhorrent horse-racing industry (we lost our beautiful 38-year-old Gemma earlier this year and we're holding this event in her memory).
All proceeds go directly to supporting our nearly 70 rescue residents and ongoing life-saving work...so we can’t wait to see you!
