Looking to book an on-site bus tour for your nursing home, retirement village or community disability group?
Floriade is inviting groups who have their own minibus to book an on-site bus tour for their residents/members. This tour allows your passengers to see Floriade from the comfort of your bus as you tour the park.

- When are tours held?
Tours will be available on weekdays, Monday 14 - Friday 18 September and Monday 21 - Friday 25 September, at the following times:
10:00am
10:30am
11:00am
2:00pm
2:30pm
3:00pm
- How long will a tour take?
The tour takes approximately 15 minutes, but you can take up to 25 minutes in your allocated timeslot.
- Can I do multiple tours?
Yes. Nursing Home, Retirement Village or Community Groups will be allowed a maximum of two bookings each. To do this, please make separate bookings for each tour timeslot. If you book more, we will only take the first two bookings placed.
- Is there a limit on the size of vehicle I can bring?
The maximum vehicle size allowed is a 25-seater bus, as the park is open to the general public during the tour times.
- What is the cost?
The tour is free. Other costs such as catering for your passengers and staff are your decision and responsibility.
- Can I have more than one bus in the park?
No. To ensure the safety of all attendees, only one bus is permitted inside the park at a time. If you wish to bring more than one bus, you will need to make separate bookings for each bus.
- Can the bus stop throughout the tour?
No. The bus tour is a continuous drive with no scheduled stops. For safety and comfort reasons, passengers are unable to get off the bus at any point during the tour, including for coffee breaks.
- What documentation do I need to provide?
Once you have booked online, you will be sent a form to provide the following information:
A copy of the Drivers Licence for the person who will being driving the bus.
Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTPI) for the bus.
Vehicle Insurance certificate for the bus.
Public Liability Insurance certificate.
- What if I miss out or my preferred time/date isn’t available?
Please contact us at events@act.gov.au, and we will add you to a waitlist for any potential openings.
