NYC Master Chorale presents: Fauré Requiem & McDowall Stabat Mater
Event description
The NYC Master Chorale is proud to present our final concert of the 2024-2025 season, featuring the revered Fauré Requiem, or Requiem in D minor, op. 48 (Gabriel Fauré), Cecilia McDowall’s richly orchestrated and penetrating Stabat Mater, and Fauré’s early work, Cantique de Jean Racine.
The program will be performed with organ, harp, and chamber ensemble accompaniment, and the concert will run approximately 75 minutes.
Please join us for a serene evening of choral treasures, before we come back together next fall for the choir’s 20th anniversary season.
As always, NYC Master Chorale concerts are open to all people and all ages, including children. Tickets for those under 18 are free (but must be reserved) and tickets for adults are available on a sliding scale. Please email us at info@nycmasterchorale.org with any questions and to register for youth tickets. All are welcome.
