Travel instructions

Getting Here You’ll find us perched right at the top of Mount George Road, just a few minutes from George Town — and a world away from the everyday. First driveway (yellow gate) on the left. From Launceston Follow the East Tamar Highway (A8) north towards George Town (about 35 minutes / 48.5 km). Just before you reach town, turn right onto Mount George Road. Continue 2.2 km uphill to the very top — we’re the first driveway on the left, clearly marked by our signage wall. From the West Tamar Coming via the West Tamar Highway (A7) Turn off at Sidmouth (B73), cross the Batman Bridge, and join the East Tamar Highway (A8). Turn left towards George Town, then follow the same route — right onto Mount George Road, continue 2.2 km to the top, and look for our first driveway on the left.

After entry instructions

Drive down our driveway, attendee parking is available onsite in our dedicated Cafe Patron Parking area (left side along our driveway) or if any vacant spaces, in front of the fenced area past the turning circle. Overflow parking available outside our front gate at the top of Mount George Road and down the driveway of our adjoining property (second yellow gate).

Hazards

⚠️ A Little Heads-Up Our coastal bushland property has uneven ground, wildlife and limited accessible areas. Tassie weather changes quickly, so wear sturdy shoes, bring layers and take care while exploring.

Toilet location

Our unisex accessible Cafe Patron toilet is across from our Cafe Kitchen, along our deck walkway.

Accessible parking

♿ Accessible Parking Accessible parking is available in the spaces closest to the Café building, in front of the fenced area. Follow event signs or ask our team for help.
