        Charlotte Payne - General Manager, ANZ CIPS

        Charlotte leads a passionate team dedicated to raising the capability of procurement and supply management in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Charlotte has been part of CIPS for nearly 20 years and throughout that time has worked with a range of organisations within the public sector, private sector, as well as NGOs and education providers to further the profession around the world. She has worked in the UK and Europe, China, South Africa, Botswana, Ghana, Malawi and Zambia as well as Australia and New Zealand. She attained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Birmingham and holds MCIPS Chartered Professional certification. 

        Keynote Speaker
        Melissa Crawford - Director, Tech with Heart

        Melissa is the Director of Tech with Heart where she helps companies with their future strategies, holds a place on a number of boards across NZ and the USA and is a sought-after global keynote speaker. With a rare skillset crossing both people psychology and technology including two Technology Degrees and 20 years of Strategic HR Roles at NZ’s largest organisations. Her accolades include HR Leader and HR person of the year, NZ’s first certified Metaverse Expert and a Certified Futurist from the top two Foresight institutions in the world (Institute for the Future and Houston University).

        Her passion is sharing her knowledge with learning curious people and working on strategic foresight projects to help companies understand the impacts of people psychology and future technology trends so they can help shape a better future.

        Anna Laity - Procurement Manager, Summerset Group

        Anna Laity is a seasoned procurement professional with 15 years of experience across both private and public sectors. She began her career in procurement on the $62 billion Gorgon Gas Project in Western Australia. Over the years, she has worked with organisations such as Chevron, PGG Wrightson, Dulux, Christchurch International Airport, and the University of Canterbury. Currently, Anna is the Procurement Manager at Summerset Group, where she contributes to optimising the supply of goods and services for village infrastructure, reflecting her passion for construction procurement. Dedicated to her profession, Anna undertook her CIPS study while pregnant and with a 1-year old son, achieving her MCIPS qualification directly after welcoming her second child.

        Dane McIndoe - Head of Enterprise Procurement, One New Zealand


        Dane McIndoe is a seasoned Procurement and Supply Chain professional who drives innovation and growth at One NZ. Dane challenges traditional procurement by fostering deeper partnerships with suppliers, internal, and external Tier 1 customers, delivering real value where traditional cost out methodologies fail. Dane’s strategic focus on whole of business value, digital automation, and supply chain sustainability, directly impacts the organization's competitive advantage and long-term success.  

        Fiona Nissen - Director NZ, ArcBlue Consulting 

        Fiona is a passionate procurement specialist with over 16 years procurement experience across government, state owned enterprise & corporate businesses.   

        An avid promoter of the procurement profession, Fiona was the first NZ based woman to be awarded a Fellowship by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply in 2016 and has been actively supporting CIPS since she started in the profession. Fiona is acknowledged as a contributor to the CIPS Global Standard for Procurement and Supply – the globally recognised competency framework for Procurement professionals. 

        Fiona has had 3 distinctive careers and has worked in a variety of sectors including construction, services, travel and utilities. She credits her first 2 careers with helping her be the strong relationship focussed procurement professional she is today. 

        Currently Fiona is the New Zealand Director at ArcBlue Consulting and continues to offer an experience-driven perspective and is committed to ensuring capability and value delivery is enhanced in the organisations she works with.  


        Jane O'Toole - Commercial and Procurement Practice Lead, Pareto-Toolbox

        With an extensive background spanning over 20 years in general senior leadership/corporate services, procurement/supply chain and contract management positions in both the U.K and New Zealand (NZ), Jane is a seasoned leader and accomplished senior leader with extensive experience. Holding the distinguished title of Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, Jane relentlessly drives the industry forward by introducing innovative ideas to address current and future global challenges. Serving as the Chair for the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply committee (CIPS) in Christchurch NZ, Jane also recently assumed the role of a judge for the CIPS ANZ Australasian awards. Additionally, she is an active member of the NZ Procurement Excellence Forum.

         

        James Parrott - Procurement Manager, Christchurch International Airport Ltd

        James Parrott is responsible for the Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing and Contract Management functions at Christchurch International Airport, with over 16 years of experience across strategic procurement planning and governance processes, digital transformation, supply chain management, and commercial contract management, for leading organisations in the UK, Belgium and New Zealand. James is a recent Chartered Fellow of CIPS (FCIPS) and currently sits on the Christchurch CIPS Committee, focusing on developing and enhancing the Procurement industry within New Zealand. 
         

        Joel Davis - Associate Director, Solution Design and Delivery (ANZ), GEP

        Digital Transformation leader with a relentless pursuit of Continuous Improvement and Functional Excellence.

        Joel leads solution design and delivery of software for GEP in Australia & New Zealand and has over the past 20+ years, held client-side roles in leading S2P Project delivery/ Procurement CoE across a variety of platforms, geographies, domestic and global roll-outs, and in consulting. Joel has held a career at the forefront of Procurement digitization and enjoys helping organisations understand vision and ultimately deliver upon their procurement systems roadmap. Joels experience spans the resources sector, construction/ infrastructure, BFSI, CPG and utilities.


        Maryam Mirzaei - Lecturer, AUT

        Dr. Maryam Mirzaei is a Lecturer in Supply Chain Management at Auckland University of Technology with over a decade of academic and several years of industry experience. Her early industry background drives her integrated approach to teaching and research, ensuring both are closely tied to real-world applications. Her research focuses on supply chain disruptions, technology adoption, and project management. She partners with industry to create authentic learning opportunities through project-based learning. Dr. Mirzaei has led numerous industry-based projects, guiding students in addressing complex challenges and helping businesses adapt to innovation and change.

        Mat Langley - Global Head of Procurement for Sustainability, CBRE

        Mat is the Global Head of Procurement for Sustainability, where the focus is on decarbonising the supply chain and circular economy, supplier diversity and responsible procurement at global real estate company CBRE. Prior to this, Mat was the Global Head of Procurement Operations, Technology and Transformation, where he initially started building the ESG programme. Mat gained an MSc in Sustainable Development over 15 years ago and while focusing on a procurement career, has also been supporting various sustainability and social programmes across the oil and gas, IT outsourcing, financial services and now real estate industries.

        Event FAQs: 

        • Do I get preferential rates as a CIPS member? 
          Yes, the event is available at a discounted rate for CIPS members.  
          The early bird member rate is NZ$450, after the early bird discount ends at 23:55 on Friday 13 September 2024, the member rate is NZ$540.

          Your membership number will be checked and verified by CIPS to ensure the correct ticket has been purchased. Delegates with expired or suspended memberships will be contacted by CIPS to renew membership. Please note, that we must receive full payment prior to the event start date.
           
        • Do I get preferential rates as a CIPS Student member? 
          Yes, a CIPS Student member ticket is NZ$300, after the early bird discount ends at 23:55 on Friday 13 September 2024, the student rate will no longer be available and you will need to purchase a CIPS Member ticket at NZ$540. 

          To qualify for a Student member ticket you must be a current student and completed at least one module in the last 12 months. 
           
        • I am going to attend the NZ Procurement Excellence Awards in the evening, can I get a discount if I attend the conference? 
          Yes, use the code CIPS2024 when purchasing a ticket on the 2024 NZ Procurement Excellence Awards website, to save $20. 
           
        • Do I/my organisation get preferential treatment if we book multiple tickets? 
          For group bookings of 5 or more tickets, you will automatically receive a 10% group discount, applied at checkout. 
           
        • How do I pay for the conference? 
          Payments can be made by credit card or invoice.

          If you are unable to pay by Credit Card through Humanitix, we can organise an invoice and once paid, will provide a Discount Code that recognises payment has already been received so your staff can register themselves through the platform. To arrange this, email events@cipsa.com.au and include each attendees name and CIPS member number if they are current members. Following this, we will confirm the total price and send an invoice. Upon payment, we will provide a code to enter when your attendees register online. 
           
        • What is the cancellation policy? 
          Cancellations received by Friday 4 October 2024 will be refunded. It will not be possible to cancel bookings after Friday 4 October 2024. Substitute delegates are welcome at no extra charge.

          Any ticket cancellations that still have payment outstanding will be liable for either the administration fee or the full registration fee, dependent on the date and time of the cancellation.
           
        • I can no longer attend the event, can a colleague attend in my place?
          Yes. Please email events@cipsa.com.au with your colleague’s name, email address, job title and we will substitute them in your place.
           
        • I have another question which is not covered off in the FAQs, who should I contact?
