Travel instructions

Venue: TAKINA, Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, 50 Cable Street, Wellington CBD Walk from Wellington train station: Around 20 minutes on foot (approximately 1.7 km). You can also catch a bus part of the way and walk the rest. Closest bus stops: Most Wellington buses stop along Courtenay Place and Willis Street. From these stops it’s just a few minutes’ walk to TĀKINA. Car parking: There are no dedicated on-site parking spaces at TĀKINA. You can park at nearby car parks including: - Te Papa car park (directly across Cable Street). - Reading on Wakefield car park (across Wakefield Street). - Barnett Street car park. - Century City car park. Parking rates, time limits and payment methods vary by car park. Metered street parking is also available nearby. Payment is typically via parking meters or the PayMyPark app. Bike parking: - Te Papa (directly across Cable Street) — free bike, scooter, and skateboard parking, with padlocks available to rent free of charge. - Wakefield Street public bike racks — if you don't want to park your bike inside the building, you can use the public bike racks on Wakefield Street. From airport: 1. By bus — You can catch the Airport Express (AX) bus from outside the terminal at the airport. It runs every 10–20 minutes and goes through the city centre. Get off near Courtenay Place/Willis Street, then walk a few minutes to TĀKINA. Total travel time is about 30–40 minutes depending on traffic and stops. 2. By taxi or rideshare — Taxis and rideshare services (Uber, etc.) are available just outside the airport terminal. Travel time to the city centre is usually 20–30 minutes depending on traffic.

Entry instructions

TĀKINA entrances: There are multiple public entrances: two on Cable Street and one on Wakefield Street.

The conference is on Level 1. Please make your way to Level 1 using the lifts or escalators. Our registration team will meet you on Level 1 to scan your ticket.
