Event description
No previous NZSL experience is required. Attendees have the option of further developing their NZSL through community-based courses.
Participants are taught:
- The finger-spelling alphabet
- Basic phrases
- Some university-specific vocabulary
- Basic grammar
- Deaf culture
This course will run each Thursday in Term 2:

When you book this event (scheduled for 27 April) you are booking in for all 6 occurrences.
The total price for all 6 occurrences is $60 incl GST. Please be aware that if you proceed with your booking, a subsequent page will advise that the course is free. This is incorrect, and occurs because payment is not being collected through the Humanitix platform - once you have booked, payment information will be emailed to you.
