OAAQ Bus Tour to QCESA Whyte Island, Port of Brisbane

Morning tea and guided tour of the Queensland Combined Emergency Services Academy (QCESA)

Ever wondered how Queensland’s dedicated Emergency Services personnel are trained to cope with a real emergency? Well here is a wonderful, rare opportunity to find out by attending our morning tea and guided tour of the facilities at the Queensland Combined Emergency Services Academy (QCESA) at Whyte Island at the Port of Brisbane.

Catch the tour bus to Whyte Island from Zahel St at Williams Field, stop 40, Carina.  Park your car free of charge at Carina Leagues Club in the Zahel Street and Creek Road corner of the Carina Leagues Club car park.

Enjoy a morning tea followed by a presentation providing an overview of the QCESA Facility. Guided walking tours of the Facility will be arranged with mini buses to be provided for the tours for those with mobility difficulties. 

After our visit it’s back by bus to Carina Leagues Club where you can tarry with friends to purchase lunch in their restaurant (which is open until 2.30pm) before collecting your car for your drive home.
