Oberon Fossicking Frenzy

This is a great day out for everyone from 8 to 80 to come and learn about the rewarding pastime of fossicking and detection.

You will learn about what to look for, how to extract it, where you can fossick and much more from experts who are happy to share their knowledge.

Come and join us for a fun day and perhaps hire a fossicking kit to try your luck in one of the many fossicking areas in Oberon region, which is a declared fossicking area.

The short one-hour sessions are packed with practical, hands-on experiences under the guidance of seasoned fossickers.

Stalls of other fossickers will be available to view and see what can be done with your finds.

Food will be available for purchase on the day and there are also some gem boxes for purchase for those who wish to ensure they get to take home some gems from the region.
