Ocean Heroes Manly - Jan 18 2025

Ocean Heroes is coming back to Manly on Saturday 18 January! Ocean Heroes aims to enhance the lives of those living with autism through surfing. We have taken over 9,000 people on the autism spectrum surfing across Australia and cant wait to do it again at Manly! 

Venue: South Manly Beach

Time: Participant will be allocated an 30 minute time slot between 8:30am-1:00pm.

What does the day look like: Participants will arrive at the beach, check in, be paired with an experienced surfer and then at the participants pace, enter the ocean. Social Story video here or pdf version here. 

What to bring: Bathers, towels, change of warm clothes, good vibes

* Please be advised it is compulsory for each attendee to wear a life jacket in the water*

We provide surfboards, wetsuits, lifejackets, surf instructors and good vibes!

FAQs

Are there minimum or maximum age requirements to enter the event?

No, if they fit into one of our life jackets we will take them! We have a huge range of of sizes for our life jackets so it should not be a problem.

What can I bring to the event?

Bring a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, hat. We provide wetsuits and lifejackets but if your child has their own wetsuit please bring it down. We also sell Ocean Heroes merchandise at our events and can accept cash or card.
