Good Dog Presents: Ocean Rhythms
Join us for a special screening of Ocean Rhythms — a long-lost 1975 surf film by Steve Core. This iconic film captures the energy and evolution of 70s surf culture, featuring early pioneers Michael Peterson, Wayne 'Rabbit' Bartholomew, Mark Richards, and Pete Townend. Also, incredible footage of innovators like Terry Richardson, Col Smith, Ian Cairns, and Peter Crawford.
Live Music:
Following the film, Newcastle’s indie pop duo The Tryouts. Comprised of singer-songwriters Chelsea Reed and David Macmichael, The Tryouts deliver simple arrangements framing clever lyrics, catchy pop melodies and a little humour.
