Ocean Youth Aotearoa: Winter Programme

Join other like-minded individuals in our journey towards a better future for our oceans! This eight-day holiday programme is for rangatahi between the ages of 13-17 and includes:

• Field trips to Auckland Museum, Auckland Zoo, and the Goat Island Marine Discovery Centre at New Zealand's first marine reserve
• A workshop on sustainable fishing
• A boat trip with Revive our Gulf to explore how they use Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to assess mussel restoration
• Talks by leaders in the marine space including volunteers, scientists, PhD students, wildlife vets and nurses, and divers
• The chance to come up with your own project to support marine conservation in your own community, iwi, or school
• A whole heap of fun and adventures in your very own Tīkapa Moana!
