Ochre with Annie

Event description

We're back after a short break and excited to be heading out to the bush with Annie Brigdale to learn about ochre.

Annie is a Yorta Yorta woman living on Dja Dja Warrung country, an artist and the First Nations Learning Officer at the Bendigo Art Gallery. Annie works with acrylic on canvas, ceramics and other mediums. This month we’re lucky to have Annie share with us the beautiful natural colours of ochre.

There'll be plenty of time for free play in the bush too.

This event is for children/minors with a responsible adult.

Bendigo Family Nature Club is an action group of the Bendigo Sustainability Group and is assisted by the Bendigo Field Naturalists Club.

Things to keep in mind...

If you've never been to one of our gatherings before, they are for children with their responsible adult.

The venue is a natural outdoor space with uneven ground that may be challenging for prams.

The exact meeting location will be included in your tickets.

When you book, to help us with numbers, please book a separate spot for everyone in your group.

And! Our events frequently book out - if you change your mind, please cancel your tickets so that someone else can come.
