October 2026 Mentorship Event

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Debra Straniero for an initial introduction as the Women in Defense’ Mentorship Director.

Dr. Straniero brings a wealth of experience as a systems engineer, a local resident, and a servant leader to her Community.  She will be speaking on not only who she is, but introducing opportunities to connect and define what is needed by the Community that WiD supports. She serves on the Women in Defense, YMCA, Heart of the Valley, and Girl Scouts of North Central Alabama on the Board of Directors.
