We have three professional and fun networking events, access is as easy as clicking 1,2,3..
We start almost every month with;
1. Virtual Networking opening up to a global stage, followed by;
2. In-person networking for the rest of the month. Once every few months we hold a popular skit;
3. Messed Up Murray, with everyone from our members to our visitors & guests working together to solve commercial business issues to life's little challenges that most business owners face at one time or another. This is a SELL OUT event, so make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment!

What to Bring:

A stack of business cards (~30) to hand out to people you connect with on the day. Be ready to tell us about you with a 20 second infomercial (elevator pitch) based on who you are, what you do and what you would like to get out of the morning

Cut-off Times:

We have a team that prepare to welcome you on the morning along with event deadlines with our venue. Event registration must be made before 12:00 PM on the Wednesday before this event. If you miss this cut off registration our next event will be available for you to book, and we look forward to welcoming you then. This events website is setup to allow auto cancelations and auto refunds no later than 3 days prior to the start of this event, after this there are no refunds or transfers will be provided.

Public Parking on the street may also be an option which can be an advantage starting early, be careful to read the sign. The council will tow cars within seconds of the expiry time, and the costs can be more than an uber to Sydney. The tram and walk from Crown Casino or Queen Victoria Market is without a doubt the cheapest and BEST option to allow you to relax and have another coffee.

We are a longstanding community of business professionals who meet weekly. Our doors are open to visitors and guests who want to expand their networks. While we own companies, our group isn’t a profit-driven entity. We thrive on the principles of the Business Network International (BNI) system, emphasizing values like “Givers Gain” and recognition.

Volunteer-Driven: All our members, including the President, Leadership Team, and Membership Committee, generously volunteer their time to make our group successful.
BNI System for Members: BNI is a globally successful system for business networking. It provides professional networking framework and global training opportunities.
Culture and Relationships: Beyond work, we focus on building deep relationships and having fun as we grow our businesses.
Visitors and Guests: When you visit, you become part of our business community for the day. Remarkably, 40% of business flows between our members and visitors.
Joining Process: If you’re interested in joining, submit an application. Our Membership Committee reviews it, and if successful, BNI Melbourne Central processes your membership fees, granting you access to the BNI global system.
Monthly Social Events: As members, we organize regular social events to foster connections.
Public Events: In addition to structured networking we run additional public networking events, industry webinars to encourage a general community of professionals to expand their network. We recognise that structured networking is great for our members, however can limit the outreach and opportunities between Small to Medium Enterprise (SME), larger corporations and Small to Medium Businesses (SMB). Unique talent can be found when small organisations provided product and services to lager organisations and visa versa.

This makes the group unique in terms of their skills and opportunities. Your net-worth opportunities are often the size of your network and business often leads to being about people. So the more we can connect, the more we can grow our network, the more we help each other to achieve our goals.
