You can choose to do a full day (9am-3pm), morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon (12pm-3pm).

Tuesday 6 October

Morning: Design Your Own 3D Print

Learn the basics of 3D printing and how to use Tinkercad for 3D design. Design your own trinket and start it printing!

Afternoon: Laser Cut Halloween Decorations

Design in Inkscape for laser cutting. Cut your designs out on TAP lab's laser cutter! Then paint and make bunting using your own designs.  

Wednesday 7 October

Morning: Design Your Own 3D Print

Learn the basics of 3D printing and how to use Tinkercad for 3D design. Design your own trinket and start it printing! 

Afternoon: T-Shirt Design

Use your design from yesterday or choose one that's provided. Use the vinyl cutter to cut the design from heat press vinyl and learn to weed it and heat press it onto a t-shirt. 

Thursday 8 October

Morning: Design Your Own Mug

Children will use digital design tools to create custom artwork, which will then be transferred onto a mug using sublimation printing.

Afternoon: Laser Cut Mixed Media Art

Participants will create a digital SVG design and combine it with a variety of materials to produce a unique layered artwork. Using the laser cutter, we'll cut the main design before assembling it with textured backgrounds and decorative elements.

Important information:

• Children who are staying for the full day must bring a packed lunch and water bottle. For a morning or afternoon session please bring a water bottle and snack.

• This programme is for ages 8+

• Drop off and pick up times are: 9am-3pm for the full day; 9am-12pm for the morning only; 12-3pm for the afternoon only.

• Kids must wear closed toe shoes. Kids with long hair need to have a hair tie.

• Each session has space for up to 10 kids. When you go to book tickets it may look like more, that's just how Humanitix handles the tickets, don't worry, it will still only be up to 10 kids there.

• We require a minimum number of sign-ups to go ahead with this programme. If this number is not reached, those days will be cancelled and all tickets will be refunded. The decision day for this is Tues 29th Sept.
