    Event description

2 Bent Rods encourages everybody to get out and have a go. Get off our screens and into the outdoors.

This activity has been made possible thank to Springfield Lakes Nature Care Inc who have received a grant from Fisheries Queensland under their Community Fishing Grants program.

Our fishing classes are open to people of all ages, races, backgrounds and abilities.

You will learn the basics of fishing including how to tie a fishing knot, bait hooks, cast a fishing rod and learn plenty of tips to make your next fishing trip more successful.

All bait, equipment and instructors will be provided.

All staff have blue cards for working with children.

Transport is the responsibility of the ticketholders/provider.

    Bookings are essential.

We recommend you bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and wear clothes that can get wet.
