Summary: On behalf of OZeWAI, Charissa leads experience labs at various events and conferences, providing participants with the opportunity to view, hear, and interact with digital content through the lens of assistive technology users. Charissa will talk about these hands-on activities which allow people to try out tools, building understanding of both the barriers and the opportunities technology can create.

Charissa helps organisations create digital services that are accessible to everyone.

She runs Accessibility Awareness sessions which show the impacts of accessibility and how to avoid creating barriers could impact people with disability.

Charissa is honoured to be among the judges in the Australian Access Awards in 2021 and 2023. These awards recognise organisations and individuals delivering exceptional outcomes for Australians living with disability.

Currently, she is also a committee member at OZeWAI - Australian Web Accessibility Initiative.
