October School Holidays | Paint and Plants

Spring has sprung and to celebrate the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year, the South Australian Museum invites you to get hands-on and personalise your own plant pot these school holidays.

Use pens, stickers and even googly eyes to decorate your enamel mug with nature-based designs where your imagination is the only limitation! Guided by our friendly Museum team, you can then choose a native wildflower, Everlasting Daisy or bush tucker seed bomb as your floral foundation and to watch nature grow.

We provide all items required for this crafty creation time so all you need to bring is yourself and your inspiration. Pair this event with tickets to the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year exhibition (not included in workshop ticket price) and receive a discount on your school holiday activity.
