October Second Saturday

All ages are invited to spend a beautiful morning at Gamble Garden. This month’s theme is soil and we’ll be honoring Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month. Visit our “soil by feel” education station and learn about home composting.

Second Saturday is free and includes activities such as:

• Soil by feel” education station

• A home composting demonstration

• Scavenger hunts

• Craft stations: paper pots, planting seeds, and painting pots

• Storytime led by a Palo Alto Librarian

• Small selection of plants available for sale

• A visit to Elizabeth’s house

• Guided tours

Activities subject to change.

Second Saturday is free and appropriate for all ages. Register for timed entry at 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, or 11:00 AM. All Second Saturday guests, when you arrive, please check in at one of our two Welcome Tables in order to enjoy the Second Saturday tours and special activities.
