Experience a snugglefest!
Come join us for a 3-hour event focusing on communication and non-sexual touch. Meet other people in the community in a welcoming, authentic, and caring environment while you learn and practice connection and communication skills.
What is the snugglefest?
A snugglefest is a safe space to engage in non-sexual touch while practicing open communication and maintaining personal boundaries. It is a place to learn and practice communicating around touch and asking for what we want, being vulnerable with our wants and needs, honoring our own emotions, experiences, and boundaries, and respecting those of others. It is also a place we can develop a new way of seeing rejection as an honoring of someone else’s desires and boundaries. You can come to the snugglefest to meet new people, to have a great conversation, or just to cuddle!
Some skills you may learn or practice at the snugglefest:
♥ Connecting in an authentic way
♥ Asking for your wants and needs
♥ Identifying and expressing your boundaries
♥ Hearing a no and respecting others’ boundaries
♥ Saying no to what you don’t want and yes to what you do
♥ Finding your voice
♥ Honoring your own emotions
♥ Developing a new relationship with rejection
♥ Communicating in a compassionate way
Schedule:
8 pm - doors open. Please try to arrive by 8:15 so you have time to come in and get settled.
8:30 - doors close. No late entry is permitted.
Opening circle and mini-workshop where we will discuss and practice communicating desires, boundaries, and expectations.
Freestyle cuddle
10:45 - closing circle
What to wear:
Comfortable clothing like pajamas or exercise clothes
What to bring:
• A snack or non-alcoholic beverage to share (water will be provided)
• A pillow or 2
What not to bring:
• Fragrances - some are sensitive to strong fragrance
• Alcohol - this is a sober event
• Pets
• Anyone under 18 - adults only
Covid Protocols:
Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to covid. There is no requirement for vaccination or antibody status. You are attending at your own risk. If you would like to wear a mask, you are welcome to, but they will not be required. Hand soap and sanitizer will be amply available throughout the venue.
Location:
This event will be held in a central location in Las Vegas. The address will be sent upon registration.
Cost:
Early bird (until 10/14 at midnight) $25 per person
Regular price starting 10/15: $35 per person
This event will be somewhat gender-balanced.
