This month's event features a powerful keynote from Josh Jones, founder of OAB Safe, who shares his lived experience of a catastrophic workplace incident to drive change in safety culture across the mining industry.

In 2015, during his final year as a diesel fitting apprentice, Josh was involved in a tyre explosion that claimed the life of his workmate and led to the amputation of his arm. Since then, he has dedicated himself to reshaping safety mindsets through raw, impactful storytelling and practical insights. His message challenges us to rethink complacency and take ownership of safer, stronger workplaces.
