Inaugural Volunteer Training

Welcome to the Open Doors Australia & New Zealand Volunteer Training, designed to equip supporters and Church Champions to assist Relationship Managers at events and Open Doors Sundays. Although the first training of its kind, you'll be fully equiped with the tools, confidence, and support needed to serve effectively. Your participation will also help shape the future of volunteer training across Australia and New Zealand.

This training requires attendance at two sessions which will be delivered online on: Thursday 31 July and Thursday 7 August, both from 5.30pm AEST/ 7pm NZT, wrapping up before 7pm AEST/ 9pm NZT.

At the end of these sessions, participants will: 

• Be able to articulate with confidence what Open Doors does 

• Be able to share their story and connection to Open Doors 

• Be empowered to speak up for the persecuted church 

• Serve and support Relationship Managers at an Open Doors Sunday or other event at the stall 

• Be able to take financial transactions
