Event description

ODA’s AGM plus Prismatic Reflection - Looking through a prism at our OD practice

Members and guests are cordially invited to ODA’s Annual General Meeting, where ODA’s Leadership Group will report on activities, finances for the past year, as well as elect LG members. It will be brief and then onto the main event!

Our 2025 AGM will take place as part of our September event (from 6.30 pm – 6.45 pm). We are asking for expressions of interest to join our Leadership Group, which is responsible for running the association and planning our monthly events. It is a really great way to get involved in the ODA community, and we welcome expressions of interest from members new and old, and at all stages of their OD career. To find out more, please contact Danielle at president@odaustralia.org.

Explore a guided process to reflect on your OD practice from different perspectives. As with a prism, you’ll look through a series of lenses with the help of your ODA colleagues to gain insights into your practice.

Self-leadership and reflective practice are fundamental for OD practitioners. As change agents, we carry a responsibility for our work and the people it impacts, ensuring we:

  • reflect on and analyse our interventions,

  • learn from experiences,

  • recognise how our biases, beliefs and assumptions affect our practice,

  • be aware of our blind spots and

  • model the behaviours we wish to inspire in others.

Often, as OD practitioners, we are working alone and may not have the opportunity to reflect and debrief with others. This event offers a chance to engage with ODA colleagues and gain fresh insights into your practice.
