Join Giray Dadali (Turkic-American pro-skier & J skis engineer), on his journey to answer a life-long question: Which has a greater influence; the heritage from which you descended or the culture in which you were raised? As Giray embarks on a new chapter of life, the film follows him to his father’s homeland of Türkiye where he looks to discover more about his place in the world and which elements of the Turkish culture to carry forward. Of The Black Sea is more than a ski film; it’s a powerful exploration of heritage, breaking cultural barriers, and fostering an understanding of what it means to be a Dadali, and what it means to be Turkish. In this film, pro freeskier and Stio Mountain Athlete Giray Dadali explores his family's roots in Türkiye, blending skiing, heritage, and tradition. This epic adventure captures his journey to break cultural barriers and inspire the next generation of freeskiers.
