Hairdressing is an incredible industry, but it can also be surprisingly isolating.
More and more of us are working independently, from home salons, private studios, freelance or mobile. And even when you're surrounded by people in a busy salon all day, that doesn't necessarily mean you get the chance to connect with each other.
Off The Floor is about changing that.
It's a relaxed local gathering created simply to bring hairdressers together.
No education. No sales pitches. No awkward networking.
Just good people, good conversation, something to eat and the chance to connect with others who understand the unique world we work in.
Whether you're a salon owner, employee, freelancer, mobile hairdresser, work from home or have your own little studio, you're welcome.
Our first Off The Floor gathering is completely FREE.
I'll be putting on some shared food for everyone, with drinks available to purchase from the bar.
Come on your own or bring a hairdresser friend. You don't need to know anyone. That's kind of the point. ❤️
