Event description

As authoritarian 'antisemitism' plans and envoys continue to distort our politics at home and abroad, it has become difficult to talk about antisemitism constructively. Instead, we find ourselves in a storm of misinformation, political mudslinging and bad-faith accusations.

Rachel Shabi's Off-White: The Truth about Antisemitism offers
a comprehensive analysis of contemporary antisemitism while combating the pro-Israel lobby's conflation of antisemitism and anti-zionism.

Taking in the contingency of whiteness, Judeo-Christian mythmaking, pro-Israel antisemitism, and the Palestinian struggle against colonialism, Rachel Shabi lights a hopeful way forward.

This conversation will be between award-winning journalist, author and broadcaster Rachel Shabi and Dr Max Kaiser, historian and Executive Officer of the Jewish Council of Australia.

We encourage our supporters to invite friends and family members who may not share your views and who you think would value from Ms Shabi's perspective.

Off-White: The Truth about Antisemitism will be on sale at the event.

Please note this event will be held in person.
