Oh God! Help me!

OH GOD! HELP ME!

Are you wrestling with deep anguish in your soul and overwhelming sorry in your heart?

Are you depressed, anxious, stressed, sick, grieved or burdened with painful guilt, shame or regret?

Are you carrying bitterness or unforgiveness for those who have hurt you?

Oh God! Help me!

Perhaps you are angry with God for what has happened in your life? 

Or maybe you're questioning, 'Where are you God? Why haven't you answered my prayer? Are you even real?'

Maybe peace eludes you and you feel like you just can't go on?

Oh God! Help me!

It is such a painful thing to feel this way. And sadly, you are not alone - so many people have suffered great trauma and pain from those who should have loved them the most. The debilitating devices of depression, anxiety, addiction and at-risk behaviours scream out for help, but too often the root of the problem is left unattended. 

The cycle of longing for genuine love and value is as real as the sun that rises every morning and the air we breathe every moment of every day. The fears we face can leave us feeling unsafe and unprotected. The searing shots of rejection, betrayal and abandonment leave a deep hole in your heart that aches and aches and aches and the void just can't seem to be filled...but, there's great news, your healing can begin today... just cry out to Jesus, 'Oh God, help me!' He will hear you and He will help you!

God's Word declares in Psalms 18: 4-7, 16-19 

'The ropes of death entangled me; floods of destruction swept over me. The grave wrapped its ropes around me; death laid a trap in my path. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears... Then the earth quaked and trembled. The foundations of the mountains shook...He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me. He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me.'

Beloved friend, no matter what you are going through, or how low you are right now, there is hope in Jesus! 

And Jesus wants to RESTORE YOU TO LIFE! Psalms 71:20

Jesus said: “If you abide in my Word... you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.” John 8:31,32

Jesus is 'the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE'. John 14:10

And so, I declare boldly from the Word... 'You shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord!' Psalms 118:17

In Jesus...

You can heal. You can have hope. You can live again.

You can let go of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness.

You can come to the place where you can truly trust God is who He says He is.

You can feel safe, worthy, wanted and loved and step into your true identity in Christ and who He created you to be.

You are marvellous and wonderfully made (Psalms 139: 13-14)

And there is such a phenomenal plan for your life! (Jeremiah 29:11)
