🌿 Plein Air Oil Painting | Mackay Art Society | Art in the Park 2025
Join Ben Ranson from the Mackay Art Society for a refreshing outdoor painting experience. Participants will paint en plein air, capturing the beauty of Shoal Point on canvas using oil paint. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced artist, this workshop welcomes all skill levels to explore oil techniques in a natural setting and create your own stunning artwork.
📅 When: Saturday 20th September 2025
⏰ Time: 12:00 - 4:00pm
📍 Where: Shoal Point Park, Northern Beaches. Meet at the large shade shelter.
👥 Participants: Adults 18+ years
💲 Cost: $30.00
👉 What to bring: Water bottle, snacks, rid, afternoon tea, sun protection (hat, sunscreen), and wear suitable outdoor clothing. You may like to bring a fold up chair and fold up side table to facilitate your comfort and set up for the afternoon. All painting materials, easels and canvases will be provided.
🚶 Starting on time: Please allow time to find parking, set up your painting space, and settle in so the workshop can begin promptly. Thank you for respecting the start time.
