Join us for a transformative two-dayย Older Person Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)ย workshop, designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to support older adults experiencing mental health challenges.
Facilitated byย Jane Massaย from theย Towards Zero Suicide Initiative, this in-person training offers a supportive and engaging environment where youโll learn how to:
- Recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health conditions in older people
- Provide initial help and guide individuals towards appropriate support
- Understand the unique mental health needs of older adults
Whatโs Included:
- A copy of theย Older Person MHFA Manual
- Certificate of Completion (both days must be attended)
- Eligibility to become anย Accredited Mental Health First Aider
- Lunch and refreshments on both days
